User Comments about the Razer Piranha Stereo Gaming Headphones

I'm giving these headphones two stars because I found they were not that durable. Very upsetting and I could image that the construction could have been a little better. The ear piece broke right off. Pros - They work well, sound is good- They look very nice. Cons - They do take a USB port, just to power the lights, so that isn't so cool.- Less durable that expected. My first set broke when the cord got tangled between the ear piece and the headset. I don't expect them to be super strong, but that accident showed me that they were not very well made.I couldn't find a headset that I wanted more, so I got another pair, but I would be open to something else, if it was available at the time I purchased these.

The fidelity is pretty good, but it doesn't do a good job at keeping ambient noise out. However, for the price, it's a good mainstream headset. not the best, but a good all around performer.

So when wearing for a long time it starts to get noticeable. Once I got it working though, its become my favorite so far. Those we problems with past headsets. The sound is good. For feature that I love, its mute button. This is one of many headsets I have tried for gaming.

It is a bit heavy weight wise. It has adjustable volume on it that is easy to use, but also not use by accident.(Had problems with past headsets in this area too).

I love it. But its a switch that is not easy to just click on accident.

Its not USB. Not only does it have one, which is nice.

Too small, too big, too tight on the ears too loose on the ears, lop sided weight etc. But its so comfortable in how it fits my head, and the padding on my ears.

This one none of those things. Which if you want it for teamspeak or ventrilo(most gamers do I am sure) , it can be finicky to set up.

As I write this review, about 2-3 hours since I last wore the headphones, my ears are still pulsing with pain. This headset is not at all comfortable. Yes, it is that bad. Do not get this headset. The day I got them I tried to adapt my ears to the pressure and hoped the pain would go away. It puts a huge ammount of pressure on the upper part of your ears. I used them for about 5 hours, becuase I was trying them out seeing how I had just got them. No one should have to play through pain.
