my grandson loves legos, esp., Star Wars and Indiana Jones. They have great educational value.
He spends hours with Legos each week, constructing different scenes, building his own ships, and just letting his imagination go free. With a little help, he was able to build the ship which made him very proud. We purchased this for our 4 1/2 year old son who loves to build with Legos and is just starting to show an interest in Star Wars. He really likes the mini-Storm Troopers and has "introduced" them to our "regular" Lego people. I would recommend this set for anyone who has a Lego fan in their house.
Good product, worth the money, very fun to lift the hatch and drop the troopers. Should come with 1 more stormtrooper to fill in the empty spot though.
My nephew enjoyed putting the star wars ship together and playing with it afterwards. He always liked to play with legos and stimulates his brain so we encourage him to play with it always.
For the price of $10, I think it is worth it. By all means a good set. You get an added shadowtrooper, as well (basically a re-skinned black stormtrooper from the Star Wars Expanded Universe), which looks pretty cool. The vehicle itself is essentially a jumble of slope pieces with a glass canopy as the cockpit. Not hard to build, not all that exciting.Overall, this set is great because it does what it says it does, it builds your minifig army. It is for those that want to "build their army" (as the box says) of stormtroopers. I was happy to have bought it.Those expecting a difficult or well-built set will be disappointed, simply because that is not what it is designed for. I did not own any stormtrooper minifigures or blasters, and this set comes with three. Otherwise, if you're looking for a fun build, look for a bigger set.
