He's been playing with them for days. I just bought this and the Stars Wars Imperial drop ship for my stepson. This is the first Lego set he's ever had besides some basic blocks made for the younger kids. He was able to put them together with minimal help from me (just a little encouragement and a correction or two). He loves them. It took him about an hour or so and held his attention completely. I'm pretty sure this is going to be the start of an extensive Lego collection.

It's been a fun little toy for my little boy. Little pieces do come off pretty often so it may not be the best Lego set for younger children.
Durability: ****The speeder itself is very durable. Happy Building. Also, the Rebel's helmets don't stay on well, but they're easy to put back on. But no matter what age, it is a good set. It comes with four new Rebel troopers, which you cannot, I repeat, CANNOT get in any other set.It has four guys, 2 blasters and 2 blaster rifles, (all with holding spots on the sides)., and a speeder with a removable turret on the back.The only bad thing is that you can't fit all 4 guy's in the speeder, you have to have one in the turret. Hi.
I will rate it either *, **, ***, ****, or *****. Overall: **** and 1/2It's a very good set, at a VERY affordable price.
Today I will be making a review of the new Lego set, the Rebel Scout speeder. It's a pretty easy build, only 82 pieces, so I reccommend it for someone 6-11.
Though not good alone, it is great with an Imperial Dropship (or Landing Craft). Not a BIG problem though Building Experience: *** This is an okay build, but not great.
Fun: *****This a great set for playing with, but only if you get the Imperial Dropship. I dropped it from 5 feet and all of it held together, except the turret, which fell off.
(Or the older Imperial Landing Craft). I would reccommend it to a friend.
I bought this for my 7 year old. He absolutely loves building with legos. This was very simple for him to put together himself and he plays with it all the time.
It reminds me of a toy from a dollar store. I was really disappointed with the toy when it came. The box that it comes in is very thin and cheap looking. I never would have purchased if I would have known.
