User Comments about the Sony PSP Slim & Lite (PSP2000) - Joytron System Skin Case - Crystal

The Logitech case is a clam shell design that fully protects the PSP from front to back and allows access for you to play the PSP while it rests within the case, therefore giving it a little more bulk for those of us adult PSP users. After attempting to install the case on the 3000, I quickly ascertained that the case just did not fit, specifically, the portion of the case that covers the memory card on the back of the PSP appears to be too small. That's my two cents. Because the PSP Slim (2000 or 3000) has such a small form factor, if you have medium to large hands, you may want to check out Logitech's PSP Playgear Pocket - Slim, which I ran out and bought from my local GameStop after my disappointing experience with the Joytron case. Ok.

I had the case in my hands 5 days after ordering it from the Amazon marketplace seller, Nuri Tech. All other panels of the case fit together perfectly except for this one portion. So I just got my new PSP3000, the new slim PSP with the brighter screen, and, after comparing the (identical) dimensions of the PSP3000 to those of the PSP2000 on Sony's website, and also reading all the positive reviews for the Sony PSP Slim & Lite Joytron System Skin Case, I pulled the trigger and ordered the case. In fact, when I first got the PSP3000, I was jammin' to God of War, side-steppin' and slashin' baddies with Kratos' blades when the PSP almost flipped out of my hands.

The upper part of the clam shell also folds back and doubles as a stand if you want to set your PSP on a table to play. However, I am an adult with medium size men's hands, and, although I like that the PSP is small, I find it's almost too small for playing pleasure. I don't know if I just got a "bad egg" or if there is some slight difference in the dimensions of the PSP3000 vs. The case does not "stretch" far enough to allow for a secure engagement of the plastic clips over the memory card portion of the PSP.

PSP2000 that accounts for the fact that the case did not fit.Another word about the Joytron case itself - it adds minimal bulk to the PSP, which may be good for those with smaller hands. The Logitech case is also 5 bucks cheaper than the Joytron case, despite the fact that you get way more protection, front and back, with the Logitech.

i purchased this skin about two weeks ago it is crystal clear and eye catching the skin is very smooth and nice, it fits perfectly to the psp2000 the material it is made of feels like a very high quality and gives extra protection to the pspi think the skin is the best in the market.i recommend it highly

It snaps on really easily provides easy access to all ports, buttons and doors (except the battery cover). I wanted a case that was slim light, and compact. I got this case for my PSP slim God of War edition to protect the silkscreen on the back. This was just right. I recommend this case to anyone who wants a simple and compact case that still allows you to see the PSP underneath.

It maybe added a LITTLE weight, but it well protect your PSP for sure. Wow. But. When I firmly put it on my PSP, it was sooo cool. I don't know where to start with this product. But when I took the case out, I thought "Oh wow, its going to be one of those junk cases." I got pretty mad. It's so amazing and so sleek.

When I first opened the package, I thought wow, cool box. Shipping was outstanding. I love how it just snaps together in 4 pieces. It came in only 3 days. Although, the hooks are EXTREMELY fragile, so let's not forget that.

None of my local shops carry it, so I had to order it online through Amazon. Offers protection from scratches and fingerprints. Paired with the Invisible Shield, I can confidently put it into my pocket quickly without juggling with a separate case. I also received a complimentary portable mini stand allowing me to prop up the PSP to watch movies on a table. I applied the Invisible Shield by Zagg to my screen prior to installing the case. Everything fits very snuggly around the system. With the case on, my PSP Slim feels quite nice to play without very noticeable bulk.

[.].Shipping was super fast with email communication. However, because the case was too clunky to play with it on, I was still required to remove the unit while playing. You just have to be careful not to damage the hooks that holds the pieces together.as they feel a bit fragile. I proceeded to read numerous reviews on the case - which were primarily positive experiences. I highly recommend this case. I've owned the Logitech Playgear Pocket for my PSP (Fat version). My search on Google for "best PSP slim protection" returned the Joytron Crystal Skin case.

Case was pretty easy to install. It was a serviceable case that protected my system during transport. I was particularly attracted to the extremely slim design, crystal clear plastic, and easy access to the essentials without the removal of the case (unlike the Logitech). One thing to remember is that the case does NOT protect the screen. As a result, I still ended up with slight scratches on my system.I recently purchased a PSP Slim and I was looking for a better solution for protection.

Installation was very easy - it took about 15 minutes. for the Joytron case. This allows you to apply/replace a screen protector of your choice. It comes in a box with Korean writing on it. So I plunked $[.].

English instructions were provided inside. However, because of the slim design, it will not protect the PSP from drops.
