Editorial Reviews:

Imagine being able to play with Legos without having to get all the pieces. Now you can with Lego Indiana Jones. It takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures. With a tongue-in-cheek take on these original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones's escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India where you will build, battle and brawl your way through your favorite moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run.

User Comments about the Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

Co-op mode is where the real fun of Lego Indiana Jones is to be had though, and like Lego Star Wars before it, the game just has a sense of undeniable charm to it that you can't help but get some enjoyment in the very least out of it. Traveller's Tales returns with another Lego-based game, this time focusing on the Indiana Jones franchise after conquering the world of Star Wars. It may not take you too long to breeze through the game though, but if you do, it is worth going back and playing again just to catch all the game's in-jokes and visual gags, along with a horde of hidden items and goodies as well. If there's any real flaws to the game, it's that the AI isn't all that good in terms of enemies and AI-controlled pals, but as a whole, Lego Indiana Jones is massively enjoyable. It should be noted right now that if you've played any of the Lego Star Wars games, you'll feel right at home here. Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is exactly what the title implies: the original Indy trilogy in Lego form. The gameplay itself is relatively simple, family friendly fun that nearly anyone can pick up and play. All in all, Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures continues the tradition of wonderfully fun and family friendly games, and is definitely worth picking up for Indy fans or anyone looking for some good clean fun.

Great gift, and even better for yourself. I loved the Lego Star Wars series, and this game delivers just as well. very fun to play, especially for my 10 year old brother. I would reccomend the Star Wars Series before playing this game though

One of the biggest problems with Lego Star Wars was the inability to saveat random points. The game takes overyour computer, and you either keep playing, or lose all progress. Now, you can't minimize. So, if your kid is allowed a certain time to play, youeither have to make him lose all his progress, or allow him to play waybeyond his allotment. In Lego Star Wars, if you minimized, it would, eventually, crash your computer. So they've fixed this problem. Great job.

He thanks me on a daily basis for what he calls "the best game in the world." My middle son has the Lego Star Wars v. I bought this game for my youngest son's 9th birthday. He and his 13-year-old brother play for one hour a day in the co-op mode, and would play all afternoon if I let them. 1 & 2 games, and loves them just as much, so all are winners.

I downloaded a strategy guide for the game, so that helps with some of the more challenging parts of the game. I had all of those things in mind when I built my computer, so no problems with the game on this end. I can't wait until September for the Lego Batman game. I have a Pentium 4 3.0 GHz processor, 2 Gigs of RAM, and a PNY GeForce 8500GT 512MB video card. I give this game a thumbs up.

I would imagine that they are at least comparable to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of this game. I have always been a big Indiana Jones fan, and I heard this game was really good, so I went ahead and purchased it. I have played Lego Star Wars for PS2, and I have the Lego Star Wars game for PC, but have never got around to actually playing it. I am mainly a PC gamer anyway, I don't even own a 360 or PS3 as of yet. Just make sure your computer is up to snuff and that you have a good processor and video card before purchasing this game.

My sound card is a Soundblaster Audigy. This was my first Lego PC game. There is definetly some replay value to this game. Fair or not, but this is simply the controller that a lot of the game programmers are using when they design games, as there are a ton of different controllers out there. Anyway, back to the game. I am planning on eventually adding 2 more Gigs of RAM to my system.

I bought the 360 controller mainly because I know a lot of the Windows games are built around the use of this particular controller. I am using the Xbox 360 controller for Windows, so maybe that helps. I just picked this game up last night for my PC, and all I can say after several hours of playing it is, "WOW." This game is a lot of fun, and there is definetly a lot to do and see in this game. I haven't tried any other controller for this game, so I can't comment on any controller issues. The game seems to follow the movies pretty closely, and there is a lot of humor with the various characters in the game as well. I am not a real big fan of adventure games in general, if you can call this an adventure game, but this game is really a lot of fun. Bottom line, go get this game. I can't justify spending the kind of money for these consoles when I am just a casual gamer anyway.

So far, I have have none of the issues that others have had with having problems getting this game to load or run. I am using a computer that I built myself. I would definetly recommend the 360 controller anyway, it is just the best controller I have ever used for PC games. This game is one that I would recommend for any Indiana Jones fans, or fans of the Lego series. The game has paused a couple of times very briefly, but other than that, no problems. I would guess that LucasArts will eventually come out with the needed patch to use other controllers for this game. The graphics and gameplay are awesome. Like I said, the Xbox 360 controller for Windows is almost a must-have if you are going to be playing Windows games on the PC.
