if u think the comp isnt going for an onside kick as soon as you pick your play you cant change it and they kick an onside and recover it 90% of the time. this game pisses me off so bad sometimes i just wanna smash it into a thousand peices. this is a descent game, however its kind of flawed in many ways. for starts, the new virtual trainer determines what skill you should play on, however when u play on ur skill level its ridiculously hard, either that or the virtual trainer is ridculously easy.
every pick u throw is a freakin pick 6. i guess ull just have to see for urself. its not fun when you can only get 15 yrds rushing and throw 10 ints on "your skill level". it set my standards to all madeen and i go to play the game and get crushed and sodomized but the computer.
as usual, madden cheats like hell. 2k series def needs to get back i nthe game.
Madden comes out with yet another great game. the "my skill" feature is great and this way it adapts to your playing style.
By the way, if you do not have a way to run these patchs. You are out of luck.EA has taken away some old bells like the General Manager feature, which was a personal favorite, and added a new whistle like the Trainer Mode, which is apparently supposed to help you learn how to play the game, but it seems to me that once you get proficient at the game, this feature would be useless. We realize there are problems, and we are working on the issues, but if we implement all the fixes, we will not have anything new for Madden 10.What.This year is the twentieth anniversary for the Madden football series (and I have owned most of them), you would have thought that EA Sports would have gotten right by now, but this is far and away the worse Madden game they have ever released, and what is EA Sports concern. A class action law suit should be filed against EA Sports for releasing this seriously flawed product for sale.Instead of calling the game Madden 09, they should have called it Madden "Freeze Patch" 09.It is bad enough that all of your game data is lost when Madden 09 invariably freezes, but in order to "fix" these problems, you have to download a patch, and once the patch is loaded, you have to start a brand new franchise in order for the patch to work. It is truly astonishing the number of problems that people are having with this game, and EA Sports take on all this seems to be. If they fix all the problems this year, what is going to motivate us into wasting our hard earned money next year.But hey. I guess EA Sports doesn't call it MADDEN for nothing.
However, I wouldn't know this for sure because the game froze when I tried to use this feature, and EA Sports answer for this was "Say no when you the game asks you if you want to go to the training mode."Really. Sorry. I just put down $60.00 for a game, and I am instructed by the company not to use the features they programmed into the game, because they know it causes the game to crash.Unbelievable.Do yourself a big favor, if you are considering purchasing Madden 09, go to www.easports.com and read the blogs before you buy. The more the game freezes the MADDER you get.
As anyone familiar w/ the Madden games knows, it's the premier product in gaming for football and this year's improvement is significant. The graphics are fantastic, Chris Collinsworth's commentary ads a nice new voice to the background.I can't tell that the IQ thing really makes much difference at this point.but perhaps I don't completely understand what it's supposed to do.Highly recommended.my 9 year old son absolutely loves this game and plays it much more than I do.and kicks my butt every time we play.
