User Comments about the Fable II, Limited Collector's Edition

Im not going to spoil what the content is but if your not sure whethter its worth it or not there are plenty site that you can find out want the extra content is. If you liked the first one then it is worth the buy but as far as the limited editon goes you may want to pass. Fable 2 in general is a big let down for those who have played the first one and are expecting a similar experience. Im going to warn you that you will have to go online and play through a mini game to get to the extra content. If you get the game I hope you enjoy it more than I did but I can assure you that the quality of the game if far less than that of the first one.

I have no clue why there are so many in the game, but it's such a good game that you tend to not even care that there are these terrible bugs. The Gameplay is great and the story is pretty good, it's just the bugs. If you know anything about the 1st fable, it's amazing, and Fable 2 does justice for a sequel. There are so many bugs and glitches in the game it's ridiculous. If it were any other game, I would have quit for the glitches, but it's just such a sweet game that I didn't want to stop playing.

While still a fun game, this lacks the technical polish of some other games out on the 360 and PS3, and seemed to fare less favourably compared to my memory of Oblivion. Also, some of the mini-games were quite repetitive. That being said, I'm still a fan of this type of medieval-fantasy-RPG settings, and I did like it, to a point.

The spells are blended for a boring mix and gun/crossbow targeting sucks. After all this time waiting for a decent sequel, we get this horrible closed minded follow up to the original. For god's sake, you can't even fight with your bare fists anymore.so much for punching out villagers. I couldn't wait just to get the game over with. It seems like there is less to do, with more rules and very little freedom in comparison to the original. It's much more constricted in it's gameplay and the graphics aren't much better considering it's on the xbox 360. I felt like they regressed in every way possible other than adding a few things like working on jobs and such. Don't buy.

Overall, if you enjoyed Fable 1, you will LOVE Fable 2.If semi-linear, action RPGs aren't your bag, then. It is also quite a bit less linear than the first. The much talked-about dog lived up to pretty much every expectation, and makes the game a deeper experience, as you now actually have something to take care of.There are entire areas that will change visually as well as culturally depending decisions made throughout the game. The main plot is longer than the original, but still short. Compared to the original, Fable 2 is considerably longer, has more land to explore, and a much wider variety of customization options. However, the number of side-quests available before the main quest's ending as well as the number and sizes of the post-story side-quests give the game a lot more play time. There are a few minor bugs reported, however my first play-through went without any hitches. Rent it and see if you like it.
