Editorial Reviews:

This software CD is designed to be loaded into your Windows XP or VISTA PC to set-up a constructive transfer relationship between your PC and PSP. It helps you transfer important files from your computer to your PSP. Instead of being tied down to a desktop, you'll have music tracks, digital photos, movies, podcasts and even Internet Explorer favorites on your go-anywhere PSP. Just connect the included six-foot USB cable between your PSP and PC, then drag and drop the files. With support for a wide variety of formats, Media Manager lets you take a world of entertainment with you. It supports ATRAC3, MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC, AVI, MOV, WMV, BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG and TIF file formats. In addition, you can easily send files from your PSP's Memory Stick DUO media (not included) to your computer. It's a swift interface that acts as a bridge between your PC and your PSP creating a friendship you're going to enjoy!

User Comments about the PSP Media Manager 2.5

I have an XP, it works great for transferring video and music. http://www.us.playstation.com/psn/mediamanager/ Yes it's from SONY's Playstation site. It's new, they finally succumbed to the pressure that it SHOULD have been included in the first place with the PSP. You don't need it for transferring games/demos.

But even though a mobile copy is included it is not supported for loading to the PSP 2000. But it will not help with the current digital rights mess. Usefull utility. For instance i got a movie, Jumper, that came with a licensed digital copy. Not this products fault but still very disappointing as the mobile copy played in windows media player looks like the perfect size for the PSP, if i could load it in a format that was supported and would work.Tried a couple of converters from wmv to mp4 and they failed also.

you can find other and cheaper ways to get things onto youre psp, but this is easier to use. it's great because the kids can use it for all the downloads.

I had listened other bad commentaries of the previous version, but this 2.5 fill my expectations. I did not have problems to install it in my portable Dell 6400 with XP SP2
