User Comments about the Spore Creatures

The graphics aren't so good and it is hard to attack with your stylus, and the adventure isn't so entertaining.I recommend you rent it at a local Blockbuster and try it out like I did and if you like it then buy it.

Scratch the diamond-studded exterior and you find a glob of flawed game design, repetitive mini-games, and lackluster effort shown in nearly every aspect of the game. When you first play spore, it seems like a very engaging game. Two to six hours later, however, you will realize that it is all but a facade. In less than ten hours of playing, you'll be putting it up on Ebay.

Frankly if you are looking for an interesting art style, entertaining an diverse missions, and a game that is better than its PC counterpart.you are in the right place :).The entire game is streamlined and I actually have FUN being friendly with other creatures O.oI can't suggest this enough, save yourself 20 bucks and have fun with this instead of spore PC :P.

Now my PC randomly scans my entire hard drives and pretty much locks up my CPU using all my CPU cycles every few hours, while Securom searches my drive to make sure I'm not a software pirate. I've been waiting for Spore since '04 and the news I kept up with were changes to the gameplay. I've lost almost all ability to multi-task and frequently get 10-15 second lockups. I have to build an old PC out of spare parts, install Spore, and *ONLY* use it for Spore.

Wait, if I do that, I'll only have two activations left. I will never buy another game that has any affiliation whatsoever with EA. Thanks for doing your best to hurt the people who give you money, while the real thieves and pirates get away Scot-Free. Meanwhile pirates steal the game without Securom left and right and see now penalty and have no problems.

So what do I do. So now I'm down to 1 activation, I have to use a whole 'nother computer and I have to reformat this one. It was only after a friend saw me playing and asked if I pirated it. Not how EA was going to ruin the experience for legitimate users. ***BOYCOTT ANYTHING THAT SAYS 'EA' ON THE FRONT AND HERE'S WHY***So I was one of the dumb suckers that bought the game without staying up with the news. I was like "No, I want to support Will Wright and good, intelligent games." And he just laughed at me as this all got explained.

Fun, but now I have to reformat. In the end, I popped in the game, and Securom installed without a dialogue box, prompt or asking in any way, shape, or form.

Meanwhile firewalling all my other PCs against it and against EA incursions (because EA connects to you all the damn time). But what isn't my fault is being screwed over for giving EA money.

But I can't install this software on my computer. My internet connection drops all the time.

That's my fault for not keeping up with news and boycotting the game. And Securom is constantly sending data out to EA servers.

Thanks a lot, EA.
