The journey is exciting and the easy difficulty shouldn't turn you off from giving it a try. she saves you and the boss regains his health. The puzzles in this game are not very difficult, but this helps keep the game moving. The artwork of the game is absolutely astonishing. If you die fighting a boss. This new Prince of Persia doesn't exactly stick to the basic formula of previous games, but this new format is fresh and fun.
She will be with you through the whole game, which is great, because while the Prince can be a jerk, you can't help but fall in love with Elika. The gameplay is based around the platforming you would expect from a PoP game- running on walls, jumping from platform to platform, and even crawling across ceilings. Whenever you are fighting someone it will just be you and Elika vs. The new prince isn't exactly your classic knight in shining armor, but he's less annoying then the troubled prince from "sands of time." The character who shines is Elika- your trusty and very able sidekick. she saves you. The visual appearance of the game is it's strong suit.
If you fall from a platform. that one person- not the larger battles of past PoP games.Elika brings another dynamic to the game, because unlike other helpless sidekicks, Elika really ends up saving you in the long run. The combat system is fairly simple, and centers around combos using your trusty sidekick (many of which look spectacular). This is what makes the game so easy. Though it is cell shaded, it never fills cartoony- just very artistic.Although it's an easy game, Prince of Persia is very enjoyable if you are willing to accept it for what it is- artistic and light.
Now, there is a reason I gave it 4 star. Anyways, I own the game and I'm about 4 hrs into the game and I'm loving it. this game really focuses on acrobatics and not on combats. Perhaps, for the people who played PoR then they may know some combos but this is my first PoR.
Also, you can only attack when there is an enemy nearby. Anyways, this is definitely unique game that's worth playing that is NOT FPS. In a way, I like it but more monsters would've been better too.even at one moment the main character says "Finally. how do I solve this silly puzzle." as you can see this is not a game where you kill 1000's of monsters.
Even the enemies are very easy to beat (depending in how fast button smasher you are). how do I climb up/down. Story so far is ok~ but I expect a big twist at the end. Graphic is top notch. For me, as soon as I saw the trailers that demonstrated the graphics I was already sold. The best character voice.
I just press any button and see some cool sequences. Virtually no loading wait during game play.
Most of the time while playing this game, my thoughts are "where do I go. Music fits very well.
so you can't even practice the combos. Within 4 hrs, I encountered less than 10 monsters.
he's quite funny and thinks like me time to time. It definitely has cool combos and what not but I didn't had enough time to practice out the combos.
Something I can hit on" before the fight.
