i would have given this 5 stars because it is a very fun set of games, every bit as fun as ghost town. i didnt because i had to upgrade my memory from 756 mb to 1.5 gig ,install a 256 mg graphics card ( would not run on the intel graphics card the computer came with) get in touch with tech service at phantom efx twice,because after making the suggested upgrades it still wouldnt install, instructed to make two downloads for windows that would allow the game to install ( i guess it needs the latest installation software.). NOW.it runs beautifully.
I wish they'd include some real casino machines to make the game more true.and more fun. I was able to finally get the game installed and running (after a lot of headaches), but what I played was very dissappointing. There's really nothing new or fun in this new package of slot machines. But alas, I'm left with the same old, same old.I recommend Ghost Town over Blackbeard's Revenge.
I gave up. This game has not installed correctly. I've received a new game from Amazon and it still will not install. I looked on the Phantom website for patches but there wasn't anything there.
This problem is not unique to us; one of our friends has had the same problems and frequent calls to Phantom did nothing to resolve the problems. The software seems to have some sort of "planned obselence" built in. Reel Deal Slots Blackbeard's Revenge As with the previous Phantom Reel Deal games we purchased, the graphics and the new slot machines are great; however this is the last Phantom software we will buy. The games we loaded previously cannot now be played off-line on our computer and the new game, "Blackbeard's Revenge", would not load properly. We did finally get it to load on our laptop which had no Phantom software installed.
Just make sure your computer meets the requirements before purchasing. I've not had any problems with this game. There really is something for everyone here, and none that I don't like. Don't get the wrong idea about this game from the negative reviews. I did, however, make sure I had the required video card and memory before purchasing. My favorite is Kash Kong, a take on King Kong, with cool art deco graphics and a great bonus round. This game is a slot lover's dream.
